IIU convocation: Bahria University seminar
IIU convocation
Islamabad, 22 March, 2008: International Islamic University,
Islamabad (IIU) will hold its sixth convocation in April in which degrees will
be awarded to the students who have completed their graduation during the
2006-07 academic session (from September 1, 2006 to Aug 31, 2007). All such
graduates are advised to submit their clearance forms along with a copy of
National Identity Card to the examination branch. They will also have to deposit
a sum of Rs1,000 as degree fee (non-refundable) and another same amount as
security for the convocation robes. However, the security would be refunded on
return of robes after a deduction of Rs200 on account of rental charges. The News
Bahria University holds seminar on economic growth
Islamabad: Bahria University organised a seminar on 'Investment
Potentials and Economics Growth in Pakistan' here on Thursday. The seminar was
organised by university's Department of Management Sciences and renowned
economist Dr. Ashfaq Hassan Khan who is also economic advisor to minister of
finance was the guest speaker. Bahria University Rector Vice Admiral Farooq
Rashid was also present on the occasion. They also discussed matters of mutual
interest along with BU contribution towards academics research and industry
liaison were also discussed. Later on Dr. Ashfaq delivered a lecture to the
student's of Bahria University sharing his views on the topic. He spoke
particularly on the comparative macroeconomics indicators of Pakistan economy. The News
