6.6% clear CSS examination 2006
ISLAMABAD, March 21(Daily Times): The Federal Public Service Commission on Tuesday
announced the results of the Central Superior Services (CSS) examination 2006,
with an overall pass percentage of 6.6 percent. According to a press release
issued by the commission, 7,066 candidates applied for the exam, 4,125
candidates took the exam, and 272 passed. Of the passing candidates, 224 are
male and 48 female.
Fida Hussain from rural Sindh clenched first position in the
exam, Mofkhar Adeel from Punjab came second, and Sara Arshid, also from Punjab,
secured third position. The successful candidates include 192 from Punjab, 24
from Sindh, 32 from NWFP, 11 from the Northern Areas and FATA, 11 from
Balochistan and two from Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
