Toronto varsity to work with Hazara University
PESHAWAR, March 20(Dawn): The University of Toronto, Canada, has agreed to work
with the Hazara University, Mansehra, to explore possibilities of archaeological
research and supervise MPhil and PhD students.
A press release issued on
Monday said that Heather Miller and Ms Jennifer, two professors of the
University of Toronto, met the vice-chancellor of Hazara University, Dr Ihasan
Ali, to discuss matters of collaboration between the two varsities.
They
agreed to explore the possibility of holding joint seminars, conferences and
research work in the fields of archaeology and anthropology.
They
inspected various departments of the Hazara University and discussed educational
programmes with the senior faculty, the press release said.
