AIOU to mark Women's Day
ISLAMABAD, March 14(Daily Times): The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Women's Studies
Department, in collaboration with the United Nations, will celebrate
'International Women's Day' on March 15 at the University's main campus
auditorium. According to an AIOU statement issued on Tuesday, Women's
Development and Youth Affairs Minister Sumaira Malik will be chief guest on the
occasion while Prof Dr Mehmoodul Hassan Butt will preside over the
function.
The programme is based on a panel discussion among youth and
leading personalities from the media, judiciary, government, civic society NGOs
and the UN.
