Class IX exams rescheduled
KARACHI, May 15(Dawn): The Board of Secondary Education on Monday postponed the
SSC Part-I (Class IX) annual examinations for one week due to tense law and
order situation in the city. The exams would now start on May 22 instead of May
15 (today), officials said.
According to new schedule of SSC-I (Science
Group), English paper will be held on May 22, Pakistan Studies (May 25),
Chemistry (May 28), Sindhi (May 30), Biology (June 1) and Computer Science (June
4).
For SSC-I (General Group), the board notified that English paper
would be held on May 23, Pakistan Studies (May 26), General Science (May 29),
Sindhi (May 31) and Mathematics (June 2).
Meanwhile the practical exam of
the SSC Part-II (Class X) has been rescheduled to June 7, according to the Board
of Secondary Education officials.
