Dr Abdul Majeed named new FMJC principal
LAHORE, May 16(Daily Times): Prof Dr Abdul Majeed Chaudhry was appointed the principal
of Fatima Jinnah Medical College (FJMC) by the Punjab government on Tuesday.
Dr Majeed is a King Edward Medical College graduate and he served as the
professor of Surgery in the North Surgical Ward of the Mayo Hospital. The other
two contenders of the post were Dr Prof Akbar Chaudhry, the former principal,
and Prof Dr Rehana Azeem, who worked in FJMC. Dr Majeed said it was his dream to
serve the institution.
