Status of KU's affiliated institutions
Karachi, May 17(The News): The present status of the institutions affiliated with the University of Karachi
needs to be reviewed.
This was stated by the Secretary of Karachi
University's Affiliation Committee, Prof Dr Sohail Barkati on Wednesday.
He pointed out that the University of Karachi is reviewing the criteria
regarding the administrative setup, pattern of internal evaluation, faculty
recruitment, library and classroom facilities etc.
Prof Barkati said
that it has been decided that the requests for fresh affiliations of
institutions would be considered and processed after the completion of the
review process.
He pointed out that that the new date of receiving
applications would be announced through the press.
