KU postponed exams
Karachi, May 15(The News): In view of the prevailing law and order situation, the University of Karachi
(KU) has postponed all exams (morning and evening) scheduled for Monday and
Tuesday May 14 to 15.
A notification issued from the Registrar KU said
that fresh dates would be announced later. All public dealing counters will also
remain closed on Monday and Tuesday, the notification added. Furthermore, the
tests and interviews of the Selection Board for the teachers scheduled for May
15 and 16 are also postponed.
Sir Syed University of Engineering and
Technology (SSUET) also announced postponement of Ist semester paper, scheduled
for Monday. The spokesman said that the new date would be announced later.
The practical exams of Physics, SSC Part II was also postponed and will
be held on June 6, said Acting Controller of Examination, Board of Secondary
Education, Bizaatullah Khan. The centre for checking copies will also remain
closed on Monday.
The Sindh Teachers Forum has also postponed its annual
convention schedule on May 14. The new date for the convention will be announced
later.
The Sindh Board of Technical Education has also cancelled all
exams being held on May 14 and 15. New dates will be announced
later.
Meanwhile, the Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology PAF
has announced closure of its campuses and papers schedule for day were also
postponed.
