US Consulate reopens resource centre
LAHORE, May 30(Daily Times): The United States Consulate in Lahore on Tuesday reopened
its the Information Resource Centre (IRC) for its members to provide them with
facility to use its research and reference services.
The US Consulate Principal
Officer, Bryan D Hunt, at a ceremony said that the IRC was a paper and
electronic reference library. He said the Resource Centre would provide access
to information on political, economic, business, legal, legislative and social
affairs of the United States of America. Education Minister Mian Imran Masood
was the chief guest on this occasion.
The Information Resource Centre will
provide access to 10,000 online research journals and 7,000 news resources in
the fields of politics, economics and law.
