BS, Pharm-D admissions announced
Karachi, Nov 19, 2007: The registrar, Karachi University announced admission forms for 'reserved seats' on Sunday. In a press release issued, the registrar said that candidates applying for Bachelor of Studies (B.S) and Pharm-D could get admission forms from the office of Deputy Registrar Academic, First Floor, Administration Block from 9:00am to 1:00pm, while on Friday the office would remain open till noon.
He said that forms would be available till Nov 22 and could be submitted within the above-mentioned date, whereas, candidates applying for the seats are requested to appear in 'Aptitude Test' where open merit is requested.
Meanwhile, Registrar, Prof M Riaz Alvi announced that prospectus and application form is available at the UBL counter at Silver Jubilee Gate for Rs700. He added that admissions for BS and Masters programme for Aptitude Test for the year 2008 are offered in MSC Applied Physics (Electronics or semi-conductors), BS Biotechnology, MSC Biotechnology, BS (Business Administration), MBA-BS Public Administration, Masters Public Administration, BS Commerce, BS Computer Science, Masters of Computer Science, Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer and Information System, BE Chemical Engineering and MSC Environmental Sciences Degree programme.
DUHS admissions
Karachi: Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has started admissions in the Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for four years Bachelor Programme in two disciplines – Occupational Therapy and Prosthesis and Orthosis. The practical training will be conducted in Civil Hospital for the students and service would also be provided to disabled people in the institute, said a DUHS press statement. The students who have passed inter Science Pre-Medical, Pre Engineering and B.Sc are eligible for the programme. The News
