DUHS, KU VCs' tenures extended
KARACHI, Nov 03, 2007: The tenure of University of Karachi Vice-Chancellor Prof.
Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui has been extended for another four years as has
that of Prof. Dr Masood Hameed Khan of Dow University of Health Sciences. The
appointments were made by the Governor of Sindh, who is also the chancellor of
the public-sector universities in the province. A notification was received
Friday on the appointments. Prof. Khan will take charge January 14, 2008 while
Prof. Siddiqui will continue after his current term expires on January 6, 2008,
making this his second consecutive term. ppi/app
