KU BSc result: HU starts MS, PhD degree
Karachi University Home Economics results
KARACHI, Nov 28, 2007: The University of Karachi on Monday announced the result
of BSc Home Economics part-II annual examination 2007.
According to a
notification, 388 candidates appeared in the examination and the pass percentage
stood at 69.32. Ms Sidra with 1,178 out of the total 1,500 marks was declared as
first. Ms Sana Minhas with 1,174 marks and Ms Marian with 1,096 marks stood

HU starts MS, PhD degree programmes
Karachi:The Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology (FEST), Hamdard University (HU), Karachi,
has started M.S. and Ph.D. degree programmes in various disciplines. The FEST
has produced its first two PhDs this year. Its first enrolled candidate,
Mohammad Altaf Shaikh, a senior faculty member at Hamdard Institute of
Information Technology, HU, and Jameel Ahmed, a senior faculty member at NFC
Institute of Engineering and Technology Multan, have completed their Ph.D.

Recycling campaign at KU
The students of MA (Final), Mass Communication Department, University of Karachi, launched a recycling campaign at the campus.
A stall was also setup in the department's premises where dry garbage can be
dumped. The department is also organising a seminar on 'Promotion of recycling
culture in Pakistan' on Thursday, November 29 at the Arts Auditorium. The News
