KU & Dow University announcements

KU:
Dr Saleem Shahzad, director admission, University of Karachi
(KU) has announced that the list of candidates selected for interview for
admission in M.B.A., M.P.A. and B.S. programmes in Business Administration,
Public Administration and Commerce department will be issued on December 4,
2007. There will be no test for admission to postgraduate diploma in Computer
Science. The list of the selected candidates will also be issued on December 4.
The examinations department has reported that 77 students have been
caught cheating in the different papers of B.A. Part I and II examinations that
began from Monday, November 26.
Meanwhile Dr Syed Waeemuddin Ahmed,
Dean, Faculty of Science has announced that the forms for admission to M.Pharm
and M.Phil will be available from December 3 to December 20, 2007 from his
office. The list of successful candidates will be issued on December 26 and the
classes will commence from January 2008.
DUHS:
The Dow University of
Health Sciences (DUHS) on Thursday announced that admissions to DPharm at the
Dow College of Pharmacy has commenced.
Students having passed the
intermediate examination with at least 60 per cent marks with Karachi domicile
are eligible for the admission. Also, B.Sc students can apply as well. Admission
forms are available at the United Bank Limited (UBL), Baba-e-Urdu Road Branch
near Civil Hospital. The admission test will be conducted on Sunday, December
16, 2007 at the Dow Medical campus. The News
