Schedule for PU exams
Lahore, Nov 24, 2007: The Punjab University Registration Branch has announced the schedule for registration of
MA/MSc Annual Examination 2008. Candidates, who have passed their graduation
other than PU, have to register themselves with PU. The registration will start
from 26th November and the last date will be 31st January. Meanwhile, the PU
Examination Department has issued the admission schedule of MA/MSc Part-I Annual
Examination 2008. According to detailed schedule, the last date for submitting
admission forms for MA/MSc Part-I with single fee is 06-03-08 (by hand) and
27-02-08 (by post) while forms can be submitted with double fee till 22-03-08
(by hand) and 15-03-08 (by post). MA/MSc Part-I exam will commence from 21st

PU announces schedule for B.Sc Home Economics
LAHORE: Punjab University has announced the date sheet for B.Sc Home
Economics final year supplementary practical examination-2007, which will start
from November 24 and continue till December 1.
Practicals will be held at college
of Home Economics, Gulberg, Lahore (For Lahore candidates) and at Federal
Government College for Women Islamabad (For Islamabad candidates), stated a

PhD degree awarded
The Punjab University has awarded PhD degree to Muhammad Arif Naeemi s/o Muhammad Hussain Naeemi in the
subject of Arabic after the approval of his thesis entitled
'Asam-un-Nabbi-Lughatan Wa Istalahan'. His supervisor was Dr Khaliq Dad Malik,
Chairman, PU Department of Arabic. The News
Iranian team meets VC
AN Iranian delegation, consisting of senior academicians, called on Vice Chancellor of the Punjab
University (PU) on Friday. Iranian delegation comprised President of Vegetarian
Union of Iran in Asia Dr Abdol Ghaffar Ebadi, Chancellor Islamic Azad University
Iran Dr Peiman Valipour and Dr Hary Evans. Acting VC Prof Dr Muhammad Arif Butt
told the delegation that PU is promoting linkages with international
universities and is focusing on Islamic university in this regard. The News
