When will Peshawar University get an impartial VC
Peshawar, Nov 28, 2007: It is noticed with a great sense of sorrow that who so ever
comes as VC university of Peshawar, starts blessing his dears and nears instead
of giving attention to the affairs. It was hoped that the incumbent VC will have
learned a lesson from Dr Haroon's Fate but He is far ahead in blessings his own
friends. He appointed his friend Shirin Zada Khattak as Registrar University of
Peshawar while with the dual charge of director admissions. Shirin Zada was
clever enough to get his brother in law Dr Dost Muhammad Khan appointed as
Director Sh. Zaid Islamic Centre just with in two weeks.
The VC removed
Chairperson Dept. of Environmental Sciences just to appoint his close aide Dr
Shafiq who took a leading part in removing Dr Haroon, the ex VC. He brought Dr
Shafiq from his mother department i.e. Geology and made him the chairman of this
wealthy department. More over Dr Shafiq was also made the Director, Vice
Chancellor's secretariat. I wish the day comes when Peshawar University gets a
Vice Chancellor who bothers for the improvement of the University rather than
blessing his nears and dears.
