Peshawar University students deprived from admission forms
PESHAWAR, Nov 01, 2007: The students once again became the prey of incompetent administration
of University of Peshawar as they were searching for the admission form for the
master degree but there were no availability of forms. While talking to The
Frontier Post, students said that first we were standing for DMCs in rows, but
when we gets DMCs now waiting for application forms for the master degree
programme but no form available for us in university.
The Nazim of IJT of
Rifiullah said that we met the Director Admissions, firstly he denied to meet
but when we start protest against the said official he came out of his office
and assure the students that they would send the forms to Bank. The student also
told that the admission forms is composed of only one page without prospectus
for the cost of Rs 400. He also said that hundreds of rechecking cases of the
students is still pending in the Examination section and 1st November (today) is
the last date of submitting the application for master degrees, one of the
student condemned the university administration and use harsh words against the
authorities concerned, as he said that they were playing with our future and
demand to extend the date of admission, he also demanded for the solution of
there problems and request the competent authority to issue the forms with
prospectus. The students also appealed to the Governor and all other concerned
high ups to take serious notice of this act. F.P
