Scholarship examination for Sukkur students
SUKKUR, Nov 16, 2007: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sukkur, will conduct category-wise (Competitive) Scholarship Examination, 2007 under the President's Talent Farming Scheme for the selection of outstanding candidates on merit for award of scholarships, stated an official handout on Thursday.
According to the board's controller, candidates who have passed Middle Standard (Class-VIII) examination, 2007 and are regular and bona fide students of SSC Part-I (Class-IX) in science groups during the academic session 2007-08 in any of the high/higher secondary school affiliated with the board are eligible.
They must have secured an aggregate of 70 marks at the Middle Standard Examination, 2007 to be eligible for the first category.
Students who have passed the SSC Part-II Annual Examination 2007 and are regular and bona fide students of HSC Part-I (Class-X) (Pre-Medical/Pre-Engineering groups) during the academic session 2007-08 in any of the institutions affiliated with the board with an aggregate of 70 per cent marks come under the second category.
For the students of the second category, no candidate should be more than 16 years of age on the day of the announcement of the results of the SSC Part-II (Class-X) Annual Examination, 2007.
