274 get degrees at UET Peshawar convocation
PESHAWAR, Nov 30, 2007: Some 262 graduates were awarded bachelor and 12
master degrees in various disciplines of engineering, while three were conferred
PhD degrees at the annual convocation of the NWFP University of Engineering and
Technology. Four graduates were awarded presidential awards and nine gold medals
for their distinctive performance in the academic activities.
The NWFP Governor,
Lt Gen (retd) Ali Muhammad Jan Aurakzai, the chief guest on the occasion,
conferred the degrees on the graduates. Vice chancellor of the UET and the
provincial caretaker Minister of Information Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gillani was
also present on the occasion. The News
