KMDC holds admissions tests
KARACHI, Oct 29: Admission tests for the
upcoming academic year at the Karachi Medical and Dental Centre (KMDC) were
conducted Sunday at the Institute of Business Management (IoBm), formerly the
College of Business Management (CBM).
Around 3,000 students appeared in
the tests, vying for a total of 50 available seats. Most of these students had
also applied at the DUHS but could not get on to the merit list. For a number of
them, KMDC (affiliated with the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital) is the last hope for a
medical degree. 'The competition is tough – 60 students to one seat – but we're
confident we'll make it.' Daily Times
