Graffiti, posters and banners banned at KU
KARACHI, Oct 13: The University of Karachi's (KU) administration has
banned the display of banners, posters, distribution of handbills and
wall-chalking within the university's premises.
It is the social and
moral duty of each student to maintain a peaceful educational environment at the
university, said a release from the administration on Friday.
Stern
disciplinary action would be taken against all violators. All students must
carry their university identity cards at all times and be punctual. They must
concentrate on their studies since exams for the current semester were about to
begin. All extra-curricular activities will remain suspended during this
time.
They should refrain from moving towards residential areas and
should limit themselves to the academic section. ppi
