BA/BSc supplementary exams to start from October 23: PU
LAHORE, Oct 8: The Punjab University's Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor
of Science (BSc) supplementary examinations will start from October 23, 2007, PU
controller of examination Prof Dr Taqi Zahid Butt said this on Sunday. According
to a press release, the date-sheet had already been issued while the process of
sending roll number slips to candidates had also started. Mr Butt said that
37,840 candidates would appear in the examination and 131 examination centres
had been set up in 21 districts of the Punjab. He said 24 examination centres
had been set up in Faisalabad division, 32 at Gujranwala division, 39 at Lahore
division, 26 at Rawalpindi division, six at Sargodha division and four at
capital city Islamabad. One examination centre has also been established at
Federal Government Degree College in Quetta, he said. Mr Butt advised the
candidates not to bring mobile phones, precious belongings, helping material etc
along with them to the examination centres.
6th paper of MA Fine Arts
rescheduled: The Punjab University's (PU) Examination Department has rescheduled
the sixth paper, Exhibition of Work, of MA Fine Arts Part-II Annual Examination
2007, said a PU spokesman. The paper was to be held on October 2, which is now
rescheduled for October 22. Daily Times
