BIEK alters paper pattern
KARACHI, Sept 30, 2007: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, has
decided to change the pattern of the question papers from the next academic
year. This was stated by the chairman of the BIEK, Anwar Ahmed Zai, on
Saturday.
He said that 50 per cent of a question paper would consist of
objective questions, 30 per cent would be short questions-answers and the
remaining 20 per cent would comprise subjective questions. The total marks of
the practical examination had also been reduced to 15.-APP

"I think it would be better to have all the questions MCQ rather than short or long questions as it is in the west. As the subjective questions does not test your knowledge and understanding but only your power of memorization."
