Protest against removal of Balochistan University teachers
QUETTA, Sept 25: Students Action Committee held protest demon
and took out a rally here Monday. The rally was against removal of more than 100
teachers from University of Balochistan, new educational ordinance and closure
of degree college hostels was taking from Science College. After passing through
different roads, it converged into protest demonstration in front of Quetta
Press Club.
Protestors carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans
against Vice Chancellor, Educational ordinance and teachers removal. It was led
by Ahmad Yar and others. Speaking on the occasion they demanded that military
Vice Chancellor should be removed immediately and anti education ordinance
should be withdrawn. Teachers removed form service should be reinstated.
Otherwise, they warned a protest movement would be launched. After chanting
slogans and registering their protest, protestors dispersed peacefully. PPI
