Teachers exhibit creative writing at NEC
LAHORE, Sep 13: Witty creative writing pieces such as 'Autobiography of Miss Lipstick'
and 'An interview with Mr Dollar' were exhibited at a 10-day exhibition at the
New Century Education (NEC) Institute in Shadman that ended on Tuesday.
Essays, interviews, autobiographies, and diary pieces were displayed on
soft boards with pictures.
An autobiography of a lipstick narrated her
story in a rather interesting style from being manufactured to its final use –
how girls take pains to match lipsticks with outfits and carry her in their bags
all the time.
The US currency speaks of his rivalry with the Euro and
his wish to be converted to gold.
Other pieces such as 'Diary of a
School Van', 'Dialogue between Pigeon and Email', 'Teeth and Sweets' and
'Autobiography of Ravi River' were also liked.
The exhibited works show
how teachers can stimulate children's creativity.
NEC coordinator Imran
Bhatti said that the NEC had devised a programme that will improve the standard
of education in Pakistan. A similar exhibition will be held in Karachi. Daily times
