IJT protests attack
KARACHI, Sept 18: The Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) Zone West held a protest
demonstration Monday outside the Karachi Press Club against the killing of its
activists in an attack on a minibus near Karachi university last week. They said
that IJT activists were being threatened in various areas of Karachi with aerial
firing at their houses.
The IJT also announced on Monday that they would observe
a three-day mourning period at KU over the target killings of "IJT and ISO
activists". The IJT claimed that teachers had assured them of full cooperation.
A Quran Khwani was arranged at the Arts Lobby for the victims of the minibus
