PIMS plans E-library
ISLAMABAD, Sept 21: The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS)
Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) plans to set up a computer library
in a few weeks to provide latest facilities to postgraduate doctors and other
users. An official said that all consultants and administrative
heads would have access to the Internet day and night.
He said a 512kbs
Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) connection had been installed for this purpose. He
said the PIMS library has been automated which has resulted in the online
availability of over 20,000 E-journals and access to over 10 medical databases. Daily Times
