Quaid-i-Awam University students' rally
NAWABSHAH, Sep 1: Students of Quaid-i-Awam University of Engineering,
Science and Technology Nawabshah boycotted classes and took out a rally against
the non-availability of facilities at the varsity on Friday.
They said
that there were no bulbs and fans in the hostel and even clean drinking water
was not available.
They further said that the university dispensary was
under control of the Rangers and the students were also not provided medical
treatment. The students were carrying placards and raising slogans against the
university administration.
Students Shuhab Soomro, Zeeshan Ali, Niaz
Jakhrani and others told reporters that there was shortage of facilities in the
university.
They demanded of the governor Sindh to take notice and direct
the university administration to provide facilities to the students. Dawn
