Karachi, Sep 11: The Centralized Admission Policy (CAP) committee on
Wednesday announced the placement list pertaining to HSC-I pre-medical (female)
candidates' admission to colleges.

Hyderabad Class xii supplementary exams schedule
Hyderabad: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education
announced that forms for Higher Secondary Certificate part-II (class-XII)
supplementary examinations will be accepted up to September 23 without late
fee.
The announcement said that examinations forms would be accepted up
to October 11 with late fee of Rs200, and up to October 20 with late fee of
Rs400, while Rs1,000 would be charged as late fee from October 20 onwards.

Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) Khairpur admissions schedule to BEd, MEd
Khairpur: Director, Institute of Education SALU, Khairpur has
notified that the last date for issuance and submission of admission forms of
BEd and MEd courses at Institute of Education main campus Khairpur as well as
its branches in Larkana, Shikarpur, Dadu and Naushahro Feroze has been extended
up to September 30.
Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif
University (SALU) Khairpur, Prof Dr Nilofar Shaikh visited different departments
and examinations branch, on Wednesday.

March against Sindh Agriculture University VC
Hyderabad: The leaders of public opinion, nationalist and
religious parties, writers and intellectuals have called for removal of Sindh
Agriculture University Vice-Chancellor Dr Basheer Ahmed Shaikh and an inquiry
into his alleged corruption.
They also demanded release of two-month
salaries of the university employees and withdrawal of criminal cases against
them.
They were addressing a rally of employees of the SAU outside the
press club here on Wednesday.
Hundreds of university employees went on a
march from the university campus in Tandojam to the Hyderabad Press Club braving
scorching heat. The leaders and employees of Sindh, Mehran and Liaquat
universities also joined the rally to express solidarity with the SAU
employees.
Raising slogans against Dr Shaikh, activists of the Jeay Sindh
Qaumi Mahaz, Awami Tehrik, Sindh National Front, Sunni Tehrik and other parties
also participated in the rally.
Those who spoke on the occasion included
noted scholar Mohammad Ibrahim Joyo, JSQM chairman Basheer Khan Qureshi,
Professor Taj Joyo, Professor Ameer Ali Qadri, SNF leader Ayoub Shar, Sunni
Tehrik leader Khalid Qadri, Ms Nazeer Qureshi and others.
They said that
Dr Shaikh was the enemy of education and if he was not removed within 24 hours,
the writers and intellectuals of Sindh would stage hunger strike outside the
Hyderabad Press Club. Dawn
