PU Merit lists uploaded
Lahore, Sep 05, 2008: The first merit lists for admissions into BA/BSc, and
MA/MSc courses were uploaded.
Punjab University Admission Committee Chairman Prof Dr Jamil
Anwar Chaudhry said that the ability to check their names in the merit list on
the website instead of visiting the campus would facilitate outstation
candidates.
He said that in addition to the website, the merit lists had
also been displayed in their respective departments, constituent institutes and
colleges. Dr Anwar said that 2,009 seats were vacant in the BA/BSc programme
while 2,900 vacant seats were available for MA/MSc classes in various
disciplines. He claimed that all admissions would be in strict accordance with
the merit policy. He also said that any student who had doubts regarding
out-of-merit admission should bring it to his notice or any member of the
admission committee for prompt action. App
