IIUI brings out bilingual magazine
Islamabad: International Islamic University Islamabad has added another feather in its cap
by publishing a bilingual magazine titled ‘Miyar’ - a research paper proposed by
its Urdu Department in an effort to explore new dimensions of
knowledge. The biannual magazine is a laudable effort that has recently
captured the attention of the students, who feels the thrust and desire to keep
themselves apprised of new and modern researches in the field of art, science
and Urdu literature by eminent scholars, hailing from India, America and
Europe. A distinguishing aspect of the magazine is that it covers issues
in both Urdu and English languages, making an effort to convey the real spirit
of English phrases by English writers. ‘Miyar’, a worthwhile
contribution of IIUI in the arena of journalism, has a proven quality as being
published in Urdu to facilitate the students. The news
