Girls outshine boys in RBISE HSSC exams
Rawalpindi, Sep 06: Girls surpassed boys by securing top positions in all groups
except pre-engineering in the intermediate examinations as Rawalpindi
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) announced results
of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) annual examinations 2010
on Saturday. Total 55,902 candidates appeared in the examinations
of whom 27,710 students including 9,302 male and 18,408 female
candidates were declared successful with ratio of success remaining
49.67 percent. As per results, 691 students got 'A+' grade, 2,283
received 'A' grade, 6,791 'B' grade, 11,513 'C' Grade, 6,241 students
'D' grade, while 276 students were awarded 'E' Grade. Kalsoom
Ejaz (Roll No 711493) from Punjab College for Information Technology
stood first in the board by securing 1017 marks out of the total 1100,
while Qazi Maaz Hussain (Roll No 721978) from Punjab College of
Information Technology and Zartash Ahmed from Cadet College, Hassanabdal
together shared the second position by obtaining 1015 marks each.
Aneesur Rehman (Roll No 710325) from Military College Jehlum clinched
third position by securing 1008 marks. Kulsoom Ejaz from Punjab
College for Information Technology topped the pre-medical group by
obtaining 1017 marks. Qazi Maaz Hussain from Punjab College of
Information Technology and Zartash Ahmed from Cadet College, Hassanabdal
together shared the second position by securing 1015 marks. Muhammad
Ahmed Sohail from Cadet College, Hassanabdal got 999 marks and stood
third in the group. In the pre-engineering group, Aneesur Rehman
(Roll No 710325) from Military College Jehlum got 1008 marks and stood
first in the group. Muhammad Adnan (Roll No 710344) from the same
college got second position by securing 999 marks. Abdul Hameed (Roll No
707372) from Kalar Kahar Science Higher Secondary School and Naeem
Iqbal (Roll No 707378) from the same institution shared the third
position with their tally reaching up to 996. In the Commerce
Group, Sania Fida (Roll No 713200) from Punjab College of Information
Technology stood first by obtaining 959 marks. Rubab Anjum (Roll No
713245) from the same college clinched the second position by obtaining
942 marks, while Sharmeen Babar (Roll No 713220) also from the same
institution stood third by getting 938 marks. Wasfa Anjum (Roll
No 711566) topped the General Science Group by getting 958 marks. Sadia
Asghar (Roll No 718942) got 957 marks and clinched second position,
while Adeel Ahsan (Roll No 727223) remained third in the group by
securing 947 marks. All three belonged to Punjab College of Information
Technology In the humanities group, Irum Fatima (Roll No 737880)
got first position by securing 914 marks. Shaheen Sultana obtained 913
marks and remained second in the group, while Kashif Jamshed (Roll No
731285) and Mahwish Saeed (Roll No 703577) from Community Model Girls
Higher Secondary School, Chakwal shared the third position by getting

31 colleges show 0% results
Rawalpindi: As many as 31 colleges including 10 public sector colleges
demonstrated poor performance as their results remained zero per cent
in various disciplines in Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)
Examination announced by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education
Rawalpindi on Saturday. The overall result remained 15.2 per cent.
Parents demand strict action against the institutions showing zero per
cent results. According to results, RBISE's three colleges have shown
overall zero per cent results including Government Higher Secondary
School Dhanda Kotli Sattian as its two candidates appeared and failed. Candidates
appeared in pre-engineering and pre-medical examinations respectively
and both failed. Government Boys Higher Secondary School Attock, showed
overall zero per cent result as seven candidates appeared and all
failed. All the three candidates of Pak Institute of Commerce and
Computer Science, Bilal Town, Jhelum, appeared and failed thus ensuring
zero per cent results. Seven candidates of Government Muslim Higher
Secondary School Saidpur Road appeared in Humanities Group and all
failed showing zero per cent results in humanities group. Faizul
Islam Higher Secondary School for Boys, Mandra, showed zero per cent
results as 5 appeared and failed while total pass percentage of Faizul
Islam School remained 17.6 per cent. Government Inter College Kallar
Syedan showed zero per cent results in pre-medical and pre-engineering
groups as four candidates appeared and failed. Over all pass percentage
remained 22.2 per cent. Community Model Muslim Girls Higher Secondary
Schoolm Gharibabad, Rawalpindi, showed zero per cent in pre-engineering.
One candidate appeared and failed. While total average pass percentage
of the college remained 24 per cent. Talent Hunt Higher Secondary
School for Boys village Dehla showed zero per cent in General Science as
three appeared and failed. While total average pass percentage remained
of the school remained 25 per cent. Community Model Girls Higher
Secondary School Dhoke Hassu also showed zero per cent in pre-medical as
one appeared and failed while total pass percentage remained 25 per
cent. Community Model Girls Higher Secondary School Nararali Marzain
showed zero percent results in humanities group as one appeared and
failed. Total average pass percentage of the school remained 28.6 per
cent. Kainat Montessori and Girls Higher Secondary Liaquat Colony
showed zero per cent in pre-medical as three appeared and failed while
total pass percentage remained 33.3 per cent. Darul Uloom Yaqoobia High
Secondary School for Boys, Baghar Sharif, Kahuta, showed zero percent
results in General Science as one appeared and failed while total result
remained 33.3 per cent. Community Model Joher Memorial Girls Higher
Secondary School Dhoke Ellahi Bauksh, Rawalpindi, showed zero per cent
result in pre-medical as 8 candidates appeared and all failed while
total pass percentage remained 34.9 per cent. One candidate of
Government Degree College Sohawa appeared in General Science group and
failed thus ensuring zero per cent result. However over all pass
percentage of the college remained 35.3 per cent. Community Model Girls
Higher Secondary School Pinwal, Chakwal, showed zero percent results in
General Science. Four candidates appeared and failed while their total
average stands at 39.1 percent. The Leaders College for Boys, 6th
Road showed zero per cent in pre-medical as two appeared and failed
while total pass percentage remained 39.6 per cent. Government Girls
Inter College Daultala, Rawalpindi, showed zero per cent in pre-medical
group as its one candidate appeared and failed while its total pass
average remained 41.4 per cent. The Educare College for boys Chakwal
showed zero percent in Humanities group as one appeared and fialed while
its overall pass percentage remained 42.9 per cent. Global Boys
Higher Secondary School Kallar Kahar showed zero per cent in pre medical
as one appeared and failed while over all pass percentage remained 43.6
per cent. Punjab College for Women Karchery road Jhelumbs
pre-medical was zero per cent as two appeared and faield.While over all
pass percentage remained 44.4 per cent Government higher secondary
school Bagh Sardaran Rawalpindi joined zero club as its single candidate
of pre medical could not pass while overall pass percentage remained
44.4 per cent. Government Degree College for Women Kallar Sayedan was
humiliated as its lone candidate appeared in pre medical and failed
miserably. However the overall pass percentage was 45 per cent. Government
Hashmat Ali Islamia College, Rawalpindi, showed zero per cent results
in pre medical group as three appeared and failed while overall pass
percentage remained 47.1 percent. Community Model Simla Islamia Girls
Higher Secondary school B Block showed zero per cent in pre-engineering
as three participated and failed total pass percentage remained 47.3
percent. Rawalpindi Public College Rawalpindi showed zero per cent in
humanities group as two appeared and failed while total pass percentage
remained 51.5 per cent. Community model Zeenat Sikandria Girls
Higher Secondary School Millat Colony Rawalpindi showed zero percent in
pre medical appeared and failed while total remained 54.5 per cent. Government
College for Women Dhoke Mangtal Rawalpindi showed zero per cent General
Science as 4 appeared and failed overall 56.3 percent. Scholar college
of Commerce Satellite Town Rawalpindi showed zero percent result in
General Science as one appeared and failed total pass percentage
remained 59.1 per cent. Rawalpindi College for Girls 6th road Satellite
Town Rawalpindi one appeared and failed over all pass percentage
remained 63.6 percent. The pre engineering result of Government Inter
College Pir Phulahi Chakwal remained zero percent as one appeared and
failed. However the overall result of the college remained 66.7 per
cent. Community Model Muslim Girls higher Secondary School Murree
road showed zero percent in pre medical as one appeared and failed while
overall pass percentage remained 70.8 percent. Rawalpindi College of
Commerce for Girls Siddique Chowk showed zero percent in pre
engineering one appeared and failed while total pass percentage remained

13 colleges show 100pc results in HSSC exams
Rawalpindi: Only 13 out of 312 colleges of Rawalpindi division
affiliated with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE)
have shown 100 per cent results in the annual examination of Higher
Secondary School Certificate (HSSC). According to gazette, all
the 22 candidates of Girls Higher Secondary School, Kamra, were declared
passed in the HSSC annual examinations, triggering 100 per cent
results. Fauji Foundation Girls Higher Secondary School,
Talagang, has showed 100 per cent results. Its 29 candidates passed the
HSSC examination. Likewise all 67 candidates of the Indus College of
Commerce for Girls, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, were declared
successful. As many as 58 candidates appeared on behalf of the
Lawrence College, Ghora Gali, and all were declared passed. Oxford
Public Girls Higher Secondary School, Pindi Gheb, showed 100 per cent
result as its 24 students were declared passed. Cadet College
Hassanabdal's 39 students carried the day for themselves. 26 candidates
of the Girls Higher Secondary School, District Complex, Chakwal,
succeeded and ensured 100 per cent results. Four candidates of the
Chakwal Grammar School for Girls managed to pass the examination. Cadet
College Jajja, Tehsil Gujar Khan, also showed 100 percent results as 34
students were declared successful. Only one candidate of MashAllah
Girls Higher Secondary School, Adyala Road, ensured 100 per cent for the
school. The 104 students of Military College, Upper Topa, Murree
were declared successful. Similarly 21 students of appeared of Global
College System for Girls passed the examination. Misali Barani Science College, Talagang, showed 100 percent results as 60 students were declared successful. Fauji
Foundation Higher Secondary School for Boys, Kallar Kahar, excelled by
showing 100 percent results as 26 candidates were declared
