Bishop Grosseteste University College, Lincoln
Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln is a small college in the north-east of England, offering university degrees in a specialised range of humanities and management subjects, with a particular focus on education. BA degrees include English literature, early childhood studies, heritage studies, drama in the community, and arts and events management; foundation degrees are also available.
The oldest building dates from 1862, but facilities built since 2000 include a teaching centre, and a sports and fitness centre which is free for students. The campus itself is on a single site and close to the centre of Lincoln. |
Fees
Tuition fees for undergraduate courses will be £3,070 for new students from 2007-08.
Bursaries
Students eligible for government assistance with their tuition fees will also be eligible for a bursary direct from Bishop Grosseteste, of £1,025 per year.
Accommodation
The college guarantees catered accommodation in halls to first-year students who make Bishop Grosseteste their firm acceptance choice, if they return an accommodation form by June 20.Costs are £2,547 for three terms for a shared room, or £2,919 for a single room. Rooms are typically £45-£50 per week in the private sector, excluding bills.
