As the name suggests, City is located in the heart of London, but its outlook is truly international. Students are drawn from 157 countries around the world, while staff come from 41 different countries. There are commendable graduate employment rates, state-of-the-art facilities and an extensive public lecture and events programme. You're unlikely to find it a cheap place to study, but where better to spend your student loan - both the West End and the City of London are virtually on your doorstep. |
Fees
£3,070 a year for full-time undergraduate courses in 2007.
Bursaries
£1,000 a year for students receiving the full maintenance grant. Merit-based scholarships in certain subjects.
Accommodation
Guaranteed for first years from outside Greater London. Self-catering accommodation costs from £94 to £113 a week.
