Kingston is based on four campuses scattered around the rather swanky town of Kingston upon Thames. It's close to London, though you might have to go through the even swankier areas of Richmond and Twickenham to get there. Around 19,000 students study in seven schools. Its portfolio of foundation degree programmes has recently been extended to include subjects such as air conditioning and refrigeration, railway engineering and historic building conservation. The university has invested in cutting-edge e-learning systems, too, with students now able to access at least 80% of course modules online. |

Fees
£3,070 for full-time undergraduate courses.
Bursaries
For students with a household income of less than £1,000, a £1,000 bursary. For those with a household income of £1,001 to £17,910, £600. For those with a household income of £17,911 to £38,330, £305.
Accommodation
The university is able to offer self-catering accommodation to most first-years. Weekly prices range from around £80 to £94.
