The College of St Mark and St John (Marjon)
The College of St Mark and St John (Marjon) is a small, single-campus higher education institution, established on a voluntary basis by the Church of England. It is based at Derriford, near Plymouth on the south coast.
Courses are mostly humanities-based, and include media, PR, community work, applied sport science and coaching; the sports centre has a 25-metre pool, gym, squash courts, a rock-climbing pool and all-weather pitch.
Degrees are awarded by the University of Exeter, with which Marjon is affiliated. |

Fees
Fees for 2007-08 will be £2,250 or £2,760, depending on the course being studied.
Bursaries
There is a hardship fund available, and until 2010 Marjon is offering all new undergraduates (or PGCE students) a free wireless-enabled laptop.
Accommodation
There are places on campus for around 500 students, with priority for first-years. Rooms in "village houses" and halls cost around £60 to £65 a week.
