Middlesex University
|
Middlesex is located in the further reaches of north London and spread over five campuses, though the Enfield campus is to close shortly and the redeveloped Hendon campus will become the focus for university life. There's also a campus in Dubai. All of them - apart from Dubai, obviously - are less than an hour from central London, meaning all the perks of the big city are there on your doorstep, but so is some peace and quiet, should you need it. Middlesex is one of the most multinational universities in the country, with a fifth of its students coming from outside the UK and 130 different countries represented. |

Fees
£3,070 for all full-time undergraduate courses in 2007-08.
Bursaries
£305 for all students who qualify for a maintenance grant. A range of other scholarships are available.
Accommodation
Middlesex prioritises first-year students who have made the university their first choice and those from furthest away. Inter-national students are most likely to get university accommodation. Self-catering accommodation costs from around £73.50 to £87.70 a week. Most students in London pay £85 to £100 a week for shared private accommodation, though you may find cheaper rooms in north London.
