Newman College
Founded in 1968 by the Catholic Education Council, Newman is located in a purpose-built campus south-west of Birmingham.
Once exclusively a teacher training college, it now has a small portfolio of degrees awarded by the University of Leicester - including drama, public and voluntary sector management, early years studies, theology for education, and psychology.
There are also European placement opportunities, allowing students to travel to institutions in countries including France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria.

Fees
Fees are £3,070 for full-time undergraduates.
Bursaries
Newman provides bursaries of between £305 and £1,300 to all undergraduate students, in addition to government assistance.
Accommodation
Newman has 228 single study bedrooms in halls on-campus. Charges for 2006-07 were £66.50 a week for a standard room or £92.50 a week for an en suite - both including bills and possessions insurance. There are also a few college houses available at £54 per week excluding insurance.
