NTU is one of the largest "new" universities in the country, with around 25,000 students. They are spread over three campuses - one in the city centre, another about five miles away and a third in the country about 12 miles out of town. Guess which one has its own dairy farm. The university is one of the top places in the country for graduate employment. NTU has close links with over 6,000 employers across the world; most courses here are vocational, with many students spending up to a year on work placements in the UK or further afield. The student community here is diverse, with a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds represented. Nottingham is a vibrant city with a proud history. The city centre has the full range of leisure options, from sleek cocktail bars to grungy clubs. |

Fees
£3070 for full-time undergraduate courses in 2007.
Bursaries
£1,000 a year for those receiving full maintenance grant, then on a sliding scale between £800 and £200 for students on partial grant. Those whose permanent family home is in Nottinghamshire will get an extra £100 to £250. Competitive scholarship bursaries of £2,000 a year will be paid to 25 students on full grant.
Accommodation
All students are guaranteed university-allocated accommodation, subject to the university's terms and conditions. Self-catering accommodation ranges from about £68-£93 a week.
