Royal Agricultural College
The Royal Agricultural College is a single-campus university college in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, which offers BSc honours degrees in the schools of agriculture, business, equine management, and rural economy/land management.
Situated in an Oxford-style quadrangle in attractive parkland, its facilities include three working commercial farms, with a 250-cow dairy herd, a 1,650-ewe breeding flock, and 250 hectares of crops including organic enterprises.
There is also an off-campus rural skills centre. |
Fees
Full-time undergraduate degrees were £3,000 in 2006-07.
Bursaries
Students who receive a maintenance grant will also receive a pro-rata bursary of up to £1,500 - eg if you receive half the full maintenance grant, you will also receive £750. There is also an additional £500 bursary aimed at widening access.
Accommodation
The college has study bedrooms for up to 300 students - 76 in twin rooms and the rest in single study bedrooms, many en suite. Costs range from £3,150 for a shared room to £5,067 for a single en suite, for 30 weeks in the year. There is a lettings service to help students find private-sector accommodation in Cirencester.
