Royal Northern College of Music
The Royal Northern College of Music is based in a single building in the south of central Manchester.
Students take the four-year BMus in order to develop their performance or composition skills to professional standards - but the course also includes "supporting professional studies", such as the music business or the art of teaching, plus "academic studies", which relate theoretical studies to practice.
There is a huge range of ensembles, plus programmes in opera, chamber music and early music; and performance opportunities range from informal lunchtime concerts, to events at the 616-capacity Bruntwood Theatre, one of the largest performance spaces in Manchester. |
