Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama
The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama is a highly respected music and drama school based in Cardiff, a growing centre for the creative industries. Its campus is in the centre of the city, in the grounds of Cardiff Castle. The college has only 550 students in total.
Its four undergraduate degrees are the three-year BAs in acting, theatre design or stage management, plus the four-year BMus. Facilities include the Anthony Hopkins Centre, a restoration of the castle mews includinging two recital galleries, a studio theatre, a recording studio, courtyard performance space and 25 music practice rooms. |

Fees
Undergraduate fees for 2007-08 will be £3,070.
Bursaries
Competitive entry scholarships are available of up to the full amount of the tuition fee. The National Bursary Scheme in Wales means students in receipt of a full maintenance grant get another £305.
Accommodation
New strudents are guaranteed a room in halls - these are private, en suite bedrooms arranged in flats with shared living rooms, and cost £73 a week for a 42-week contract including bills (Sky digital and broadband are included). Private sector rents are around £210 a month plus bills, and you can use a Find-A-Friend service to find fellow students to share with.
