St George's University of London is one of the UK's best-known medical schools, and shares a site with St George's Hospital in Tooting, south London. As well as the five-year MB BS in medicine, St George's offers undergraduate degrees in health sciences (diagnostic or therapeutic radiography, and physiotherapy), biomedical informatics, biomedical sciences, nursing, midwifery, social work, and a four- or five-year MPharm in pharmacy. |

Fees
St George's charged £3,000 to UK/EU undergraduates in 2006-07. There is no charge for the one-year "foundation for medicine" course.
Bursaries
Students studying for a MB BS, or for a BSc in biomedical Science or biomedical informatics, will receive a tiered bursary of up to £1,200 per year, depending on how much of the state grant they receive.
Accommodation
Rooms in halls cost from £63.66 to £90 a week last year; all the halls are in Tooting, south London. For the past few years it has been able to accommodate all students who wanted a room, but St George's makes no guarantees. Rooms in the private sector are around £300 to £400 a month plus bills.
