St Martin's College
St Martin's College is a higher education college based in the north-west of England, with campuses in Lancaster, Ambleside and Carlisle - as well as sites in east London, Whitehaven and Barrow.
It has a wide range of undergraduate courses ranging from education and healthcare to business, arts, humanities and social sciences; unusual courses include a BA in adventure recreation management in Ambleside, the heart of the Lake District, or social science and criminology at Lancaster.
In August 2007, St Martin's College is to merge with the Cumbria Institute of the Arts and with the Cumbrian campuses of the University of Central Lancashire, to become the University of Cumbria - although for current students, courses and campuses will not be affected. |
