St Mary's University College, Belfast
St Mary's is a college of Queen's University Belfast, based in the Falls Road on the west of the city, which mostly provides teacher training in the Catholic tradition.
It currently offers two undergraduate degrees: a four-year BEd in either primary or secondary education (including specific subject studies), and a three-year BA in liberal arts, which includes modules in human development studies, Ireland in Europe, and options from a range of humanities subjects including Gaeilge (Gaelic) and religious studies. |
Fees
St Mary's charged £3,000 in 2006-07 for full-time UK/EU undergraduates.
Bursaries
In 2006-07, students receiving a full maintenance grant also received a bursary of £1,200, while those receiving a partial grant also received £500.
Accommodation
Accommodation is available either in the private sector (rents are around £170 to £220 per month plus bills) or in halls at Stranmillis University College or Queen's itself (£50 to £75 a week last year).
