University of Wales Institute, Cardiff
|
UWIC is one of the leading new universities in Wales, mainly due to its career-orientated courses that make graduates popular with employers. It's also a top sporting university with first-class facilities and a proud tradition of competition - and success. It's also recently announced a £46m fund for redeveloping and updating the campus facilities. The university is split between four campuses, with the Howard Gardens campus in the city centre itself. Cardiff is a lively, cosmopolitan and fun-loving capital city, but still manageable and easy to get around. There's some lovely countryside within easy reach and good transport links to the rest of the UK. |
