Or... the University College for the Creative Arts at Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, Maidstone and Rochester, to give it its full title. Existing in its present form since 2005, it's one of the UK's leading providers of specialist education and research in art, design, architecture, media and communication. A diverse community of students, staff and researchers is spread across the south-east in the five constituent colleges. Students come from all over the world to study here, win industry awards and showcase their work at national and international festivals. Courses aim to equip students for successful careers and the college has ambitions to win full university status soon. |
Fees
£3,070 for full-time undergraduate courses in 2007.
Bursaries
£305 for students in receipt of the full maintenance grant. Eligible students who show academic potential will also be invited to apply for one of 80 scholarships worth £2,000 a year.
Accommodation
Demand is high, but priority is given to new full-time students who don't live locally. There is a wide range of different types of accommodation available and the university college maintains a list of private accommodation. Prices vary.
