University of Buckingham
|
Buckingham is a unique institution: Britain's only private university. Just over 700 students study here and the university offers intensive two-year degree programmes, with four 10-week terms a year. Even taking that into account, a Buckingham degree is still more expensive than your regular kind, though you do get an impressive staff-student ratio and Buckingham students are among the most satisfied with their university experience. The pretty campus is compact, but big enough to boast its own cinema. It has a rural feel, but is between Milton Keynes and Oxford, should you need a shot of urban adrenaline. Over 65% of the students population is from overseas. |
Fees
£7,500 a year for most undergraduate courses.
Bursaries
A range of scholarships are available.
Accommodation
Campus accommodation is guaranteed for all first-years who apply for it. Self-catering accommodation costs between £80 and £130 a week.
