University of Gloucestershire
Almost 9,000 students are spread over four campuses - three in Cheltenham and one in Gloucester. Cheltenham, in particular, is attractive, but both can support a decent social life and have good links to bigger cities, as well as some appealing rural surroundings. The university is proud of its green credentials and sustainable policies. Learning is flexible - there are large groups of mature and part-time students - and courses are innovative. How about interactive game design, sports tourism management or popular music?
Fees
£3,070 for full-time undergraduate courses in 2007-08.

Bursaries
Students qualifying for a full grant qualify for a bursary of £305. Students from the local area may be entitled to more. Further scholarships and support available.

Accommodation
There are halls on or near all campuses. Rooms cost between £80 and £92 a week.
