University of Teesside
|
Teesside's campus is close to the centre of Middlesbrough, a town undergoing a transformation - alongside a wide range of bars, cafes and clubs is a stunning new art gallery, Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art. Your money will go much further up here; it's one of the cheapest places to live in the UK. You're a short hop up to Newcastle if you really want to divest yourself of some of it in mammoth shopping centres; or head into the lovely scenery, which is just as much fun, and cheaper. The campus has seen nearly a £100m investment over the past decade. Student numbers now exceed 21,300, with widening participation a priority: 98.4% of young full-time degree entrants attended state schools or colleges. |
