MBBS / BDS Admission at Jinnah Medical and Dental College

Minimum Requirements
Minimum requirements for applying for all categories of seats are :
  • Intermediate Science (Premedical) Examination passed with 60% marks or above from a recognized Board of Intermediate Examination for MBBS Program and "Pass" for BDS. BSc. (Biological Sciences), with Grade A+ and Grade A.A/O levels,
  • American High School or equivalent examinations.
  • The equivalence given by the University will be applied.
  • Students who have completed their education outside the Pakistan Intermediate system must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen in Islamabad.
You may apply before obtaining this certificate, but admission will be conditional.
Local candidates will be required to appear in the Jinnah Medical & Dental College Entrance Test. Selected students will then appear for an interview, during which they will be assessed for attributes including general knowledge, communications skills, general demeanor and attitude.

Consideration will be given to marks obtained in the Intermediate Examinations and the Entrance Test, as well as the performance of the candidate at the interview.
Students applying for PNRA and Foreign seats are not required to sit for the Entrance Test. PNRA students who wish to apply for a local seat must appear for the Entrance Test.
